Dental Bridges in Huntington Beach
As indicated by it’s name, a “bridge” literally closes the gap created by one or more missing teeth. This form of dental restoration is used to replace a missing tooth by joining permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants.
What types of dental bridges are available?
Traditional fixed bridges: consist of two or more crowns and a filler tooth/teeth.
Cantilever bridges: are used when there are teeth on only one side of the missing tooth or teeth.
Resin-bonded bridge: are made of porcelain fused to metal teeth supported by a metal framework. Metal wings on each side of the bridge are bonded to your existing teeth. This type of bridge is commonly used to replace front teeth.

I was not looking forward to having to wear loose dentures like my mother did.Implants with snap on dentures have a wonderful secure fit that gives me the confidence to eat and smile again! Thank you so much, Dr. Whelan!

We hope you’ll join our dental family of friends
We aim to provide our patients with care that lasts a lifetime. We’re happy that a lot of our continuing patients need no further care and occasionally people move far away, so we’re always happy to have new faces become a part of our family.
We would love to have you join us.
We look forward to seeing you.
